The song comes off of BOSCO’s new album, “Some Day This Will All Make Sense.” It is also featured on the hit show “Insecure,” from HBO. We recently had a chance to chat with BOSCO about her latest work. Check out our conversation and the new video below.
**You conceptualized the visuals for your track "Attention." How did it become important to you to have your creative control extend into every aspect of your work?**
I believe every artist's end goal is to be in complete control of the narrative. When you have a vision you want to see every part of it extended into each medium and film was just that for me. Collaboration is a great tool in accomplishing your goals and sharing a wealth of knowledge with creatives you trust.
**Your songs have been featured on the show "Insecure." How did that opportunity come about for you?**
I work with an amazing sync and licensing team 'Greater Goods' who has aligned many opportunities with the “Insecure” family. I've been blessed to be featured in every season and also included on the soundtrack as well. Issa Rae is amazing and she keeps her ears/eyes to the culture. I love her and Kier for that.
**What can we expect from you moving forward?**
More honest work from a place of vulnerability while continuing to shed light on my fellow collaborators and friends.
