[Bertrand Fournier](http://bertrandfournier.com/) is pretty new to art. He was born in 1985 in Île-de-France, and didn’t even begin painting until his 30s. At the time, he was working as a psychiatric nurse, and had a lot of experience appreciating the beauty of imperfection. But he fell headlong for the discipline. He’s come up with paintings titled Scrabble II, Monster, The Black Mountains and Cheese. Here, you can get the results of bright colors and disorganized spaces appearing on untreated linen canvas. It’s a mix of abstraction and symbolism. And while Fournier has only been exhibiting for the past two years, galleries beyond his national borders have already picked up on his unique scent. Delphian seems a particularly good fit for an initial London-town showcase. It aims to highlight both captivating and challenging work. Delphian’s mission is to give a boost to artists who are just entering the arena, rendering the partnership with Bertrand Fournier a perfect match.
