Montblanc’s newest collections made their debut at Milan’s Salone dei Tessuti in a familiar yet refreshing fashion. Though this does not come as a surprise, as the confines of innovation have been surpassed by Montblanc since its founding in 1906. Having drawn visual inspiration from the creamy color palettes and symmetrical characteristics of Wes Anderson’s easily recognizable art style, Montblanc’s Spring/Summer 2026 assemblages offer a reflection of the elegance and heritage that contribute to the Maison’s timeless designs.

Anderson collaborated with Montblanc for a second campaign titled “Let’s Write,” directing a short film by the same title, starring Michael Cera, Rupert Friend, Esther McGregor and Waris Ahluwalia. With “Let’s Write” acting as a muse, the Spring/Summer 2026 Leather Goods collection dons dazzling citrus and neutral earth tones, offering both work and travel adjacent items that are geared to inspire both creativity and productivity.

Refillable notebook holders, pen pouches and tasteful coffrets for writing instruments exhibiting fine corteccia, gain and saffiano leather finishes are elements of the Art of the Desk line. Intentional space is offered new ways to come alive as this series serves to amplify the vision of Artistic Director Marco Tomasetta whilst recognizing the writing heritage of the Maison.

The Montblanc showroom at Salone dei Tessuti presented more than just a look at the new Leather Goods and Art of the Desk collections, but a vision of the artistic process that brought the latest pieces to life. Upon entering Montblanc’s space, spectators were met with the result of a collaboration between Edinas Paper, Ermes Ponti and the Montblanc Retail Design team, a deep dive into the different ways craftsmanship has been expressed through time.

Edinas Paper and Ermes Ponti both had their own dedicated subspaces within the Montblanc space, which allowed for the showcasing of different materials that contributed to the collection’s final pieces. In Edinas Paper’s space, attendees were able to appreciate the campaign design’s paper elements and collect 3D postcards as keepsakes. An array of tools, sketches, materials and original designs that were utilized in the manufacturing process of the Montblanc Desk were available for viewing in an area designed by Ermes Ponti.

New backpack, crossbody and tote silhouettes designed in the same vein as a folded letter are available in these collections, bringing a new sense of excitement to casual everyday necessities. Including a brand new lightweight travel line, Montblanc continues to innovate the work and travel experience with weekenders, garment bads and toiletries that sport water-repellant technologies along with quiet leather facets.

From January to April 2026, the Montblanc Spring/Summer 2026 Leather Goods and Art of the Desk collections will be made available both online and in Montblanc boutiques in three waves.
