Flowers play a significant role in our lives, serving as channels for our emotions. They embody romance, celebrate special occasions, mark times of mourning, remembrance, and much more. Miriam Torres, founder and florist of Florever, aims to capture all these aspects through her floral designs, consistently focusing on artistry and sustainability. Here, Torres creates botanical arrangements for brand events with Cartier, Gucci, and Le Labo, and specializes in landscaping and rooftop gardens, all with the goal of creating visually beautiful spaces with the intention of raising awareness of our flora and fauna.

Torres founded Florever 13 years ago and has flourished into a staple florist in the luxury space. Founded in Mexico and expanding into the United States, the inspiration behind the brand begins with Torres’s mother.

While cleaning and watering her flowers, Torres’s mother would tenderly speak to them, expressing her love and appreciation in every word. As Torres’s role model, she paved the way for her career as a florist, who landed her first job at Flores de Juana in 2010, a flowers and landscaping dispatch. Two years later, she started Florever alongside her business partner, Ileana Martinez, where the pair excel in versatility.

Strelitzia Nicolai arrangements, Miriam’s favorite flower, decorate the studio of American designer Kelly Wearstler, defining modernity, imagination, discipline, and refinement. Red and pink roses strut down Cynthia Büttenklepper’s runway show, beautifying fine pairs of heels, excelling in elegance and sophistication.

Anthurium and orchid flowers embellish Jenna Ortega’s hair at the Beetlejuice premiere in Mexico, representing Latino culture through the use of flowers native to South American countries. Marigold buds warmly adorn the annual Ofrenda Anahuacalli at the Museo Anahuacalli in Mexico City, symbolizing Torres's devotion to her country’s culture and customs while honoring her heritage.

Florever Verde, a focus within Florever, is dedicated to building rooftop gardens and biodiverse landscape design services. This area of expertise within the firm’s objective is to promote responsibility and environmental awareness. These green spaces sit atop architecture and offer insulation benefits, helping manage stormwater and improve air quality. With their picturesque appearance and thoughtful design, rooftop gardens encapsulate Torres’s mission to enhance our environment without compromising her style.
