Maximilian Davis’ Pre-Spring 2027 collection for Ferragamo continues to pull inspiration from the 1920s. The glamour and liberation of the era is rethought to reflect modern times. This season, focusing on the casual attire from the period, Davis mixes drapey and structured silhouettes for menswear and womenswear.

Across the collection, geometric patterns are prominent, showcasing influences from the Surrealism and Cubism movements. Ferragamo Pre-Spring 2027 alludes to the scarf-dressing of the 1920s, while utilizing unexpected fabrications and contrast. The house showcases leather scarves used to break up knife-pleat dresses made of lighter materials. The collection also references 1920s activewear with leather-piped nylon windbreakers of enhanced tailoring.

For accessories, a sleek bucket bag is introduced beside the Ferragamo Cara shape with an increased proportion. The Hug style is reimagined with leather and suede stripes, while the Soft bag comes in earthy hues of olive and tobacco eelskin. Menswear bags show a reversible leather tote with a Gancini clip, as well as a shoulder bag made from deep Barolo leather. The Hug is also featured for men in a brown suede crocodile print.

Footwear continues to show key styles from A/W26 alongside a new sandal embellished with Ferragamo’s signature Gancini buckle. The Gancini is also shown on top of leather stilettos, T-strap chains, or surrounding the foot. Menswear also features the Gancini detail on classic oxfords and loafers, further emphasizing the heritage of Ferragamo.
