In the warmth of late October in Los Angeles, [MUTHA](https://mutha.com) Founder Hope Smith and Violet Grey Founder Cassandra Grey co-hosted a luncheon to celebrate MUTHA’s launch at Violet Grey. The guests enjoyed a three-course meal by Smith’s personal chef, Armando Yagües, to celebrate the launch of the luxury personal care brand. Smith shared that the brand was inspired by a moment she had in her kitchen when she was pregnant with Hendrix, her first son. With the original intent being to minimize stretch marks, MUTHA now has a whole line of 100% natural Body Butter’s and Body Oil’s for women during pregnancy and after. The luncheon not celebrated the launch, but Cassandra Grey announced MUTHA’s Violet Code approval.
