by Christopher Andrew Armstrong

Louis Vuitton prepares for their spring and summer seasons with two new groundbreaking releases, Les Colognes and a new leather goods campaign featuring Emma Stone, Alicia Vikander, and Lea Seydoux.

Last night at their Beverly Hills location, Louis Vuitton introduced Les Colognes, a new line-up of fragrances created by the brand’s master perfumer, Jacques Cavalier Belletrud, and inspired by California’s cool, effortless spirit. With artwork created by the multimedia artists and filmmaker Alex Israel, it arrives as the first ever unisex fragrance released by Louis Vuitton. With a scent which captures the endless holidays and  top-tier destinations which reflect the Golden State, the fragrances are titled Sun Song, Cactus Garden, and Afternoon Swim.

Their new campaign released today features the House’s “New Classics,” bag, the leather goods campaign exhibits three standout actresses at the forefront of their careers showcasing the relationship they’ve developed with their respected bags. Oscar winner Emma Stone carries the Capucines, a classic bag with streamlined geometry which makes it the ideal accessory for today’s modern sophisticate. Former Academy Award Winner Alicia Vikander is captured with The Twist, emblazoned with a sliding chain strap and a twisting Louis Vuitton logo clasp. And international actress and breakout star from 2013’s Blue is the Warmest Color, Lea Seydoux selected Dauphine, a bag with a modern twist on the House’s 1976 Monogram standard with a bold leather standing as the backdrop for a circular LV logo buckle. All three women are photographed standing in front of a white canvas, which allows the women and their chosen bags to shine.
