It is so interesting that in such chaotic times, things seem so quiet. It is like there is a deadly fire rapidly ablaze worldwide, yet many of us are struggling with the coldness and the slowness of it all. But, with Georgi Kay’s sentiment in her new electro-pop single, _‘GASOLINE’_, we are all given a chance to reflect on the chaos around us and remember how important it is to let ourselves feel, even if that leaves us with burns.  “This is a perfect time to release music because it’s a perfect time to reconnect with ourselves and each other whilst we are at our most exposed and most vulnerable,” the Grammy nominated British-Australian artist explains. “Ironically, _‘GASOLINE’_ is about acknowledging and accepting a relationship that has ended the way it has due to both sides having played an equal part in its demise. Yet there is something beautiful and complete about recognizing when we have reached the end of one line and the beginning of another, for they are the same thing.”  To put it simply, Georgi Kay makes music for the future. By blending dark aesthetics with euphoric sounds, Georgi is connecting the world with music and humans with one another, one self-reflection at a time. “Perhaps during this time we will be free from all the outside noise and self-created chaos that we once distracted ourselves with, and we will be able to see with untainted clarity that an era has ended and a new one must begin,” she says. As we premiere ‘_GASOLINE’_ right here, we can all turn to it as a sense of hope that there is light at the end of this tunnel. Thankfully, with Georgi Kay’s vulnerability and musical artistry, that light is vivid, colorful, and sounds like synths and 808’s.
