Nifular Gallery opens the new SQUAT Los Angeles, as a result of the popularity and success of their past editions in Paris, Milan, New York, London, and Beirut. The 500-square meter space is transformed into a creative haven showcasing the work of over forty designers, lasting from December 20th, 2019 to February 18th, 2020.

The gallery includes more than 150 design pieces, featuring artists such as Derek Castiglioni, Hans Agne Jakobsson, Finn Juhl, Carlo Scarpa, Ignazio Gardella, Ico Parisi, and Joaquim Tenreiro among others. In addition to the various desks, chairs, and seats, SQUAT Los Angeles presents luxurious vintage rugs with contemporary hand-crafted carpets. Two artists collaborating in this area of the gallery are Brigitte Niedermair and Martino Gamper. Another featured piece of SQUAT L.A. is the video installation of Implicit Surface by Audrey Large, which explores the potential of a three-dimensional file to be realized in various formats, blurring the lines of what is multimedia art.

The different Atmospheres of the gallery provide separate experiences and effects. The opening section, Atmosphere 00 and approaches the audience with colorful lines and sharp geometric design. Glossy finishes and lively patterns make the environment with Derek Castiglioni utilizing 100% recyclable materials.
