The pop singer, songwriter, and musician is a jack of all trades, best known for his cover of Selena Gomez’ “Bad Liar” back in 2017. Boasting one hell of a voice and even greater ballads, the rising star returns today with his debut single titled “I Thought You Were Lonely,” premiering exclusively on Flaunt. The concept for "I Thought You Were Lonely" arrived in one of his first ever writing sessions, touching on the feeling of being completely shut down after being at your most vulnerable with someone. The record itself is relatable on all fronts, with lyrics that will resonate with anyone who listens. Shot in Los Angeles, the music video was directed by Emma Sydney Menzies with creative production from Amber Park’s critically acclaimed AP Studio—seeing Cameron starting out inside a glass box before switching positions with his love interest, played by Emma Powell.  Cameron states, “I fought so hard for this single, all of this music that's coming. I can't believe it's finally out, I'm thrilled. The best part is that this is just the beginning. I have a whole road ahead of me.”  The goal of the record is for people to feel good when listening, and feel something overall. Whether it makes you dance, cry, sing, whatever—Cameron hopes to instill that same feeling that artists have done for him in the past.
