In today’s oversaturated music industry, it’s hard to stand out. Thankfully, [BLK](https://www.instagram.com/officialblkmusic) is here to bring back that feel-good, nostalgic 90’s R&B we all know and love. Hailing from Toronto, the R&B trio prides themselves in their stance for women empowerment, breathing a breath of fresh air into the lives of all those who listen to their music.
Comprised of members Bexk, Lilac X and Korahjay, BLK is excited as ever to be unleashing their debut EP titled [_Girl Magic_](https://bfan.link/girl-magic), premiered today exclusively on _Flaunt_. The project features their standout single “Girls,” which is paired with a powerful black and white visual showcasing the beauty in Black Girl Magic.
Speaking on the project, Lilac X states, “The overall theme of the “Girl Magic'' EP is female empowerment. When bad bxtches link up and create the transparent diary of the 21st century woman.”
_Girl Magic_ is nothing short of bops after bops, giving listeners a vibe that is unmatched: exuding nothing but confidence, fun, sexiness, and empowerment.
Bexck explains, “The motivation behind ‘Girls’ is when you realize that you have the strength to let go of a toxic relationship or situationship. Finding the balance between f\*\*\* him, acknowledging your feelings and acquiring enough self-love to recognize your worth and leave that man on read.”
