tonight is the future, and I am planning for it
Flaunt and PalazzinaG ring in the Venice Biennale
As Friday night drew to a close before the opening of the 56th Venice Biennale D’Arte, Flaunt Magazine was concluding the last of our fêtes, this one celebrating [Taryn Simon’s](http://www.gagosian.com/artists/taryn-simon) participation in the international arts fair in conjunction with [Gagosian](http://www.gagosian.com/) Gallery, [Hublot](http://www.hublot.com/en/), and [PalazzinaG](http://www.palazzinag.com/). Hublot’s brand philosophy “The Art of Fusion” and “Hublot Loves Art” platform was once again brought to life with the brand's support of the evening, merging and matching the creativity at the heart of the brand with that of the art world. Dinner was long and leisurely, punctuated by that unique brand of gesture that Italy is famous for, followed by drinks and dancing to a soundtrack provided by international nightclub [Le Baron](http://www.lebaronshanghai.com/). After which we were benevolent enough to finished the wine.
Thursday we were pleased as can be to host an exclusive dinner in partnership with Diesel and Tumblr for directors, curators and artists, after which CURA., the international contemporary art magazine, brought Anal House Meltdown from London for one night only at the PalazzinaG. AHMD, created by the artists Eddie Peake, George Henry Longly and Prem Sahib who are represented by galleries Lorcan O'Neill, White Cube, Valentin, features electronic music mixed by the three artists.
The previous day, after a few caffè and an undisclosed amount of cornetti we were up an at it again, this time in partnership with Tumblr to honor Fabio Mauri. Mauri is one of four Italian artists called upon by the curator of the Biennale, Onkwui Enwezor, for the exhibition "All the World's Futures." He is represented by the prestigious Hauser & Wirth NY art gallery. The evening celebrated the publication of the book Io Sono un Ariano, a collection of his complex and intense work. We finished the evening under the auspicious melodic selections of Le Baron.
Tuesday, we began our series of events with the MAN performance by Nico Vascellari and Julia Kent staged during dinner at PalazzinaG. Le Dictateur had the honor of presenting the fourth COCO project video from Federico Pepe and Jacopo Benassi after which we drank quenched our thirst with some Belvedere Shibuyas, and danced like there was no tomorrow to the beats lovingly provided Le Baron.
