PH5 hit the slopes for its Fall/Winter 2020 collection in the lodge-like High Line Room at the Standard. Designers, Mijia Zhang and Wei Lin were largely inspired by the spirit of a modernized Slim Aarons, the iconic American photographer. The collection’s seamless mix of sporty and luxe silhouettes captures the allurement of Aarons’ socialite subjects. An avant-garde sports vest mimicked the snowy slopes, while the classic PH5 wave knit made its return in a bold houndstooth. PH5 continues to fuse experimental and sophisticated textiles, like the UV-reactive tweed, advancing its progression in the future of knitwear.
