The video features rising reggaeton artists [LASTMONDAY](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaZ93bVsCj1OUmssmiPIN8Q) and [Ms. Nina](https://soundcloud.com/ms-niiina). “Sammy Sosa” marks yet another move by the DJ in bridging the gap between the international club scene and Haitian party culture.  As a Haitian artist, Brun’s mission has always been to highlight the richness and beauty of his country’s culture, rather than focusing on despair or tragedy. Recently, Brun has continued his mission by working to raise funds in light of yet another devastating earthquake in Haiti.  Even amidst this darkness, Brun hopes he can continue bringing positive change through his music. “People need this, even in moments of darkness and tragedy,” explains Brun. “My activism in Haiti is always ongoing, but as an artist I also want to push Haitian culture forward at a global level, and this release does this through the universal language of club culture.” Brun will follow up “Sammy Sosa” with “Ocho”, releasing September 15, to kick off the start of Latin Heritage Month.
