The resurgence of sustainability and garment vitality is all grounded in grassroots activism. This same activism prompted movements within larger, more accessible brands to refine themselves in terms of sustainability. Inspired by the innovative Swedish culture and the desire to combat the climate crisis, [H&M](https://www.hm.com/entrance.ahtml?orguri=%2F) will be featuring its SS20 collection, featuring pieces cultivated from recycled polyester that symbolize the beauty in Mother Nature. Selections of fabrics for this revitalized collection are bold and invigorating, with powerful hues of blue and pink. Keeping in mind that engaging in more sustainable practices reflects in both the brand’s ethos and the greater well being of the world. In addition, to celebrate the launch of their SS20 collection, H&M Studio held an event at a private residence in Beverly Hills. There was a special performance by Lykke Li as well as several VIP guests including supermodels Jourdan Dunn and Paloma Elsesser, actress Billie Lourd, and Selah Marley. Actress Jameela Jamil was DJ’ing for the night. Artist Maayan Zilberman of Sweet Saba created sculpted candy rock rings inspired by the new collection as a treat for all the guests of the event.
