London based, [Henri Bergmann](https://www.instagram.com/henri/?hl=en) is a house & techno producer and DJ, with an emotive and melodic sound. Newly signed to Watergate’s DJ roster, Henri’s productions have been on fire. The first track from her “Nexus” EP was featured on the cover of Spotify’s Electronic Rising playlist, while her latest release “Solar” premiered on Pete Tong’s show, with recent press coverage from _Mixmag_, _Dancefloor Romancer_, _Data Transmission_, _Music is 4 Lovers_ & more. 2020 has encapsulated amazing projects including a  Booka Shade remix, more tracks for her own label Automatik and her new single “Creature” with Sapiens Records. The track is a radiant and boastful synthesized journey of eclectic layers and atmospheric exploration from the angelic strings, didactic drumming and Marika’s lucid ethereal vocals. It all encompass a radical and hypnotic beat that makes it a calming yet high energy piece that also draws us back with solemn notes of piano. The rise and fall is a perfectly balance evolution and sonic journey. Well Creature is one of those tracks that kept on evolving. It started with the piano chords and then when I was in LA I got my friend and composer Bryan Senti to try out tons of string parts over it, which I later chopped and layered together to make a melody. He was living in Dustin O’Halloran’s studio at the time and his Steinway B was calling out to us so Bryan re-recorded the piano on that, which I think made a huge difference. I’d been sitting on the track for about a year when I came across Underspreche and asked if Marika would be interested in singing over it and that was really the missing piece to the song. It kind of reminds me of old school Massive Attack now.”
