Gucci Changemakers Program
Gucci has begun accepting applications for the North American Changemakers program, which includes its $1.5 million Scholarship Program and its $5 million Impact Fund for nonprofit organizations, and they have brought a collaboration with [DRØME](https://www.instagram.com/wearedrome/?hl=en) Creative Director [Satchel Lee](https://www.instagram.com/satchellee/?hl=en) to announce it. The grant and scholarship open call announcement invites young people and nonprofits to apply to be Gucci Changemakers.  Earlier this year, Gucci announced its North American Changemakers Program, working in alignment with the company’s vision for garnering a greater social impact and pushing diversity and equity forward within the fashion industry. The film announcing the open call for applications was narrated by Changemakers Council Co-Chair, Poet, and Author [Cleo Wade](https://www.instagram.com/cleowade/?hl=en), and allowed for young people to share their own stories. Wade stated, “Change does not happen in theory, it happens in community. We are bringing the Gucci Changemakers initiative to life by bringing not only funds, but also time, energy, and care to communities that have been historically and systemically under resourced and overlooked for too long.” Both of the programs aim to do exactly that. They give to and prioritize historically underrepresented and marginalized communities in order to allow for the advancement of the youth and nonprofit organizations hoping to create broader change, starting within their own communities.  Learn more on applications and eligibility at [www.changemakersus.gucci.com](http://www.changemakersus.gucci.com). * * * Photos and video courtesy of [Gucci](https://www.gucci.com/us/en/?gclid=CjwKCAjwxOvsBRAjEiwAuY7L8qZTQ99LKkbNORH_HfYmnlfhfYQwxu3S6xWKL-8Qx5YI1FmL7Y2ZXRoCLsAQAvD_BwE)
