In the middle of a dreamy, white abyss, [Allan Rayman](https://www.instagram.com/allanrayman/) sits gently strumming on an angel’s wing. In the video for his new single “Chief,” off upcoming album “_CHRISTIAN_,” Rayman sings about romantic propositions gone wrong, and times when we ask ourselves questions like, am I coming on too strong? “I just had fun making _CHRISTIAN_. I was listening to a lot of \[Amy\] Winehouse, I guess you could say it was inspired by ‘Frank.’ I’m a bit old fashioned, but I feel like it’s kinda my take on what it is to be a man in this day and age. Is chivalry dead?” said Rayman. Rayman has released four projects so far, including his most recent, “Harry Hard-On.” Following their success, he is now preparing to release his fifth album, “_CHRISTIAN,_” this spring, which will be accompanied by a [headline tour](https://www.allanrayman.com/tickets) (tickets on sale today). On the plan for upcoming shows, Rayman said, “I’ll bring out a live band for the first time. Raw rock and roll. Unrefined.” Three singles from the new album have already dropped, titled “6 am,” “Stitch,” and “Pretty Please.” For “_CHRISTIAN_,” Rayman teamed up with Grammy-Award winning producer Alex Da Kid, who has previously worked with Rihanna and Eminem. “Chief” puts Rayman’s slow, gritty vocals over a simple rock beat. The result is a laid-back but bright track. Listen below. * * * Photo Credit: Steph Verschuren
