This year Fendi celebrates the first anniversary of their F is For... content-sharing digital platform for millennials (and made by millennials). For their big birthday, they're bringing together six young street artists from all over the world to create the "6-Hands Artwork" where each artist's piece connects to the other's, aiming to unite cultures and ideals--two things known to separate mankind. The artists are Gary (English), Roes (Chinese), Casper (Japanese), Jodae (Korean) and Cave (Iranian), collaborating for celebrate differences. Entitled _The Ring of The Future_, the work lives on the rooftop of Palazzo della Civilta Italiana at Fendi's HQ in Rome.  There will also be a genderless t-shirt available to purchase with the artwork. We interviewed the talents--Roes, Cave, Gary Stranger, Casper, and Jodae. Give the brief chats a read below: * * * **Roes** -------- **What does _The Ring of The Future_ project represent to you?** I think the most important meaning of this project to me is to exhibit my country's language calligraphy to the world. **What about collaborating with all these artists from different countries and cultures?** It was a wonderful experience to work with my fellow artists on this project.  Throughout the process I gained valuable experience through sharing our different lifestyle and techniques in curating art. **What do you wish for yourself in the future?** I wish to get more people to see my work. I hope I can travel to new places and incorporate different culture into my work. I loved this experience with F IS FOR… because it has been an enriching opportunity to me. **F IS FOR…** F is for… future and future to me is very optimistic, there is hope for sure. * * * **Jodae** --------- **What does _The Ring of The Future_ project represent to you?** Working at _The Ring of The Future_ project for F IS FOR… it has been an inspiring opportunity to think about my life and my work as an artist. I wrote in Hangeul (Korean language word) writing the word "future". I have always thought about the future, what is to happen next and about my life as an artist. I have always done works based on these thoughts and _The Ring of The Future_ project theme fits very well to me. **What about collaborating with all these artists from all over the world?** Graffiti is an art done together with people. Here in Rome I have had the opportunity of working with different artists from around the world under the same theme and spent time together and got to think that Graffiti is "one," we are moving forward together with the same thoughts in creating our artwork.  This is why I like the project very much. **What is the best part of working at this F IS FOR… project?** It was an awakening moment to see many artists working with passion and enthusiasm. I looked back on myself and felt I need to put greater effort and escalate going forward in my life. **Tell us more about your way of painting. Why it is so special?** I used to work mainly with spray, but now I use oriental paintbrush.  I want to show the power of painting with Korean traditional contents as in "Shamanism."  I hope my paintings can reach out and touch more people. * * * **Casper** ---------- **What does _The Ring of The Future_ project represent to you?** It’s a great project, very unique. I’m honored to be invited to this opportunity. I feel really happy. **What about collaborating with all these artists from all over the world?** I think it’s amazing working with artists who wrote in different languages like Japanese, Arabic, Korean, Chinese, English, Hebrew. **How do you envision the future?** The future will be very bright. I want the world to be filled with lots of children. In the future, there may be no nationalities. Well, there may be nationalities, but language hurdles may disappear. I’m grateful to F IS FOR… and FENDI for giving me this great opportunity. * * * **Gary** -------- **What does _The Ring of The Future_ project represent to you?** This project is a great opportunity to me to understand how diverse graffiti artists are. There are people from every corner of the world here working together on the same rooftop, without any crossword yet committed 100% to the project because of our mutual passion. It is an enriching exercise of unity! **What do you think of the space location?** This is a very important building and being here working at this amazing project is very valuable to me. **What do you wish to yourself for the future?** I wish I can live easy life, by enjoying simple things and helping and supporting my family. **F IS FOR…** F IS FOR… future and forgiveness, because the real happiness comes through letting things go. **Graffiti art is a tool for sharing messages. Which is your message to the future generations?** I’m used to refine my art to let it be more and more simple. So, my message to the future generations is: less is more. Do not complicate things to achieve your goals, yet enjoy life. * * * **Gary** -------- **What does _The Ring of The Future_ project represent to you?** This project is a great opportunity to me to understand how diverse graffiti artists are. It embodies the power of sharing. **What’s the best thing of being part of this project and collaborate with all these artists?** I love the idea of doing something together with all these artists, coming here in Rome on the FENDI rooftop, working at the same thing, having the same aim and especially being friends no matter what color we are or background we are from. This is the most important part of the project to me. **What do you think of the space location?** I think this space is perfect to celebrate the fact we are all here together. It’s a very tall building and the only thing above us it is the sky. This is definitely good. **F IS FOR…** F IS FOR… future and future is bright. It’s bright because the more we understand that we need to be together as a whole world, not just acting as different countries, but thinking as one and sharing the love, the more we can work for having a better world for us. * * * images c/o Fendi
