The start of [FAMES](https://www.instagram.com/famesmusic/) is a cliche gone right, as “3 guys walked into a bar” and came out an in-tune-trio with an inseparable bond. That said, as Ian Johnson, Wesley Chandler and Blair Heumann relocated from Nashville to LA to play gigs and promote their synth-soaked-pop sound, never did they think they would be bound to their computer screens to continue to connect for the collaborative energy that their music calls for.  [FAMES](https://www.facebook.com/famesmusic) focused in on 2020, releasing five singles prior to the Covid-19 crisis. But, with a stay-at-home order in Los Angeles while right in the thick of things, the band had to get creative with how they would continue to create. The guys turned off the endless anxiety-inducing news reports and took to their laptop screens, finding solace in their new "Stripped Apart Series." By “stripping down” their fresh releases and reworking the entire energy of their songs, this visual and sonic series connects the trio with one another while they connect their music with the digital world. “kiss/tell” was released back in January and the song’s theme touches on a turning point one never saw coming. As we premiere their stripped apart version right here, we can turn to it to remember that even the most uncertain times can create room for something magical. Whether you’re wishing for something to soundtrack your next cry session or something to dance to in your underwear, allow this visual/musical rendition of “kiss/tell” to strip you down to your true self and feel all the FAMES feels.
