The exhibition will incorporate a film, video, and six wall pieces—all together showcasing an intersection of language, text, and the feminist perspective in a fresh take on contemporary art. With a short video named after the exhibition, Fowler mixes together art and prose to give an abstract representation of life, memory, and mortality. Her six wall pieces harken to billboards but remain simplistic, with nothing but a solid background and a line of white text that seem as if taken out of an unfinished sentence. Fowler will also project her 30-minute film _with it which it as if it is meant to be, Part II_, a piece that that showcases 20 women artists in their later years interacting with their work, as well as them reading out loud Gertrude Stein’s _Many Many Women_. Eve Fowler brings to Morán Morán her innovative and creative take on the notion of re-presentation, and does it with flair. The opening reception for the exhibition will be on Saturday, September 7 from 6-8pm.
