You may not have not heard of Delicate Steve, aka Steve Marion, but if you have a taste for experimental rock and worldbeat, you’ve probably heard his guitar’s unpinnable twang (a perfect match for ANTI- Records). From Paul Simon’s _Stranger to Stranger_ to Amen Dunes’s _Freedom_, Delicate Steve has been a go-to session guy for ambitious, acclaimed albums. But don’t take him for a faceless studio musician; Delicate Steve has an impressive oeuvre in his own right, consistently taking creative risks and trailblazing new guitar sounds. He’s a sonic Swiss Army Knife, able to shred, bend, float, knock you out of your seat—a modern-day, old-fashioned guitar hero. Delicate Steve was kind enough to share with FLAUNT photos and thoughts of a recent trip to Nashville.
