After gaining a GRAMMY Award nomination in the category of “Best Dance Recording” for his work on Rüfüs Du Sol’s hit single, Underwater, Cassian returns to shatter the scoreboard of Sydney’s flourishing electronic scene, bringing us an effortlessly occult, three-track remix package of his latest single “Magical”. The accomplished DJ and mixing engineer cemented his title as Australia’s fastest-rising producer, and subsequently linked up with Enamour, and Sydney-born Made in Paris, to give the EP the tech-heavy spin it deserves. Cassian reflected on the two dance-greats whose remixes make up the Triad, and exclusively told _Flaunt_ that he was, "Thrilled to have two of my favorite DJs and producers remixing "Magical." Made in Paris' originals and remixes have been in high rotation for me this past year, and I love the vibe she created with this remix. Earlier this year Enamour sent me a bunch of his unreleased original tunes, and I don't think I've DJ'd without playing at least two of them since then. His remix is so creative and the sonics will blow your mind on a club system capable of re-producing them. "Magical" is so different from everything I've released up until this point, so I was really inspired to remix it myself, speed it up, and explore the darker side of the song.”  Photographed by Brendan Bannister.
