To celebrate its eighth year running, Camp Flog Gnaw brought out it’s usual suspects and a few surprises; artists like the Internet and Taco continued their unofficial residency while others like Lil Uzi Vert, A$AP Rocky, and Drake made an unsuspecting appearance at the shows end. The length of the weekend featured more than these artists, though, as fresh faces to the Flog Gnaw scene included the likes of BROCKHAMPTON, Tommy Genesis, H.E.R., YG, and so many more. To keep the surprises rolling, and making an especially popular hang out spot this year, Tyler the Creators Golf World gave fans exclusive access to Golf’s newest shoe, the Gianno, as well as new pop-up’s like Taco’s Taco’s and YG’s Bompton House. Amongst all the carnival rides, screaming fans, and festivals fits, we were able to compile a journal with some of the performing artists, where they answered questions, shared fantasies, and made some doodles before they ran off to perform for the 50,000 guests that ran about the festival.
