Kicking off the sights of summer just on the horizon, Insomniac Events is launching a new summer series, Day Trip In The Park Los Angeles. On Sundays lasting from May 24 to September 27 at the LA State Historic Park, this series embraces the rhythmic grooves of house and techno, allowing attendees to revel in an open-air festival-like experience. The lineup curates a medley of artists, including Joseph Capriati as this year’s opener, PIV Records takeover by Gaskin, a special debut by Cassian, and the legendary Armand Van Helden to close out the series.

The atmosphere cultivates a relaxing environment, fostering community and local listeners gathering for music, but also camaraderie. Guests are welcomed with food vendors, personalized onsite activations, vibrant décor, and, of course, high-energy performances. Previous Insomniac events include a rooftop pool party in West Hollywood and a waterfront festival in Seattle, Washington. Day Trip has come a long way from its early years of hosting on the patio at Academy LA, and has since transformed the Los Angeles festival music scene into an electric, tangible terrain, both wild and carefree.
