St. Moritz | Views From the Top
How does a tiny Swiss resort town revitalize and rebrand? With a luxury magazine, of course. St. Moritz, a new magazine celebrating the elevated lifestyle of the subarctic city and its residents, covering everything from “news, views, and stories from life at the top of the world.”
The magazine, which launched in May, celebrated its debut with an intimate dinner in Los Angeles on Friday, June 21 at Manuela at Hauser and Wirth. Though the sun-soaked culture capital of the West Coast is both literally and figuratively far from the Alpine city that lies 1,856 meters above sea level, friends and contributors alike gathered to commemorate the beginning of a new piece of St. Moritz history.
For its inaugural issue, St. Moritz covered the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz, toured artist Rolf Sachs’ home, chatted with PR legend Karla Otto, and dished on the most fashionable way to stay warm in frigid temperatures.
Tyler Brûlé, CEO & Chairman of Winkreative, and Chairman & Editor-in-Chief of Monocle is hopeful that the new publication will inspire people around the world to visit the charming two-time Winter Olympics host. St. Moritz, which is published by Engadin Tourism St. Moritz AG (ESTM AG), is distributed by select retailers in Zürich, London, Milan, and Los Angeles, as well as across the Monocle network. Additional events celebrating the launch will be taking place in Zürich, London, and Los Angeles.
