"My worry about moving to LA was that I'd spend all day lying on my sunny deck surrounded by tanning oil and La Croix cans reading Gary Larson comics,” Frontman Grayson Converse says. “While that does represent a large portion of my time, it’s also been a very inspiring place to write music. I look forward to all the future music that will come out of our new LA home, but for now we're stoked on the quality of "Real Jerk" and pretty much just hope y'all like it. The song is about the end of a relationship - when people get taken for granted and the mind and heart begin to wander. It’s a confession and an apology. Sometimes you just gotta write a song about it!"
