While strolling down Abbot Kinney, locals sluggishly passed by— a noticeable contrast from the New York hustle-and-bustle of which I’ve grown accustomed to. As I soak in the Venice heat and mimic the leisurely pace, I notice the growing number of cannabis and CBD stores blooming on Abbot Kinney alone— one, two, three… And suddenly, I find myself in front of a strikingly minimalistic storefront glowing with white light. I look up and read the lowercase, yet bolded ‘dosist’ sign. After showing my identification, I make my way inside with a dosist guide where we discuss the ranging products and their unique formulae.
