News just broke that Pussy Riot’s Pyotr Verzilov is in critical condition right now while being held in a Russian hospital. Reason for visit? Possible poisoning.
Sources say that Verzilov is currently receiving treatment at the toxicology wing of Moscow’s Bakhrushin City Clinical Hospital. The night of September 11, Pyotr’s partner, Veronika Nikulshina, noted that he was beginning to lose his sight, speech, and mobility. All signs were pointing to illness as Pyotr had returned home from a court hearing Tuesday night. Unfortunately for Veronika, the hospital was unable to disclose any further information to her or the rest of Pyotr’s family other than his transition into the toxicology wing.
Pyotr’s loved ones fear he may have been poisoned and the doctors have noted that the condition is serious. The case is still open as we wait for further information to come.
