Over the weekend _Flaunt_ and [Guayaki Yerba Mate](https://www.instagram.com/guayaki/) took a trip down South to Nashville’s own [The Dive Motel & Swim Club](http://www.thedivemotel.comhttp://www.thedivemotel.com). The downpour in the preceding hour didn’t stop partygoers from enjoying the Dive Motel’s funky disco ball-adorned space.
Guests danced along to sets by [Blackcircle](https://www.instagram.com/blackcircle615/), [Alison Mosshart](https://www.instagram.com/amosshart/), and [Hustle & Bump](https://www.instagram.com/hustleandbump/) as well as performances by , [Liz Cooper & the Stampede](https://www.instagram.com/lizcooperandthestampede/), [Nikki Lane](https://www.instagram.com/nikkilane77/) while sipping on their refreshing Yerba Mates (my expert recommendation: Sparkling Cranberry Pomegranate).
The Dive Motel & Swim Club is the latest project by [Urban Cowboy’s](https://www.urbancowboy.com) Lyon Porter and Jersey Banks. A rework of a 1956 motor inn, the Dive Motel packs a punch of ‘70s nostalgia in the coolest way. Nashville’s retro iteration of the Madonna Inn features 23 themes rooms, a dive bar operating from 9 AM to 2 AM, 60-foot pool, hot tub, cabanas, open air boutique, and live performance space.
Next time you find yourself in Nashville, escape reality with the Dive Motel’s blast from the past.
