When Patty Lu and Megan Gray aren't delighting fashion bloggers with their fantastically coordinated outfits they run [The Vernacular](http://www.thevernacular.com), an independent online publication that functions as a collaborative channel for emerging creatives, designers, and artists. While everything The Vernacular does is beautifully shot and interestingly executed, their recent collaboration with Venice Beach based independent boutique [Lust Covet Desire](http://www.shoplcd.co) (LCD), titled "Dawn of Consciousness", is especially so. It's a perfect pairing; both LCD and The Vernacular highlight up-and-coming independent talent, bringing a bold new take on fashion and design to the public. Inspired by "chasing sunrise light and discovery through transformation," the verdant setting and warm illumination of the shoot gives the gorgeous streetwear inflected LCD designs a fresh and striking feel.
