Over the weekend the musician took to the Wiltern stage to perform before running off to Downtown Las Vegas for the Life is Beautiful festival… Here is his weekend recall
first day of tour— pulled up to the Wiltern around 4:30, ready to plug in and get that soundcheck popping
all the ppl i put on the guest list start hitting me for VIP instructions— trying my best to hit everyone back and get them sorted, a lot to juggle tho
little confusion between the outputs being sent out from my rig— trying to sort it all out w the venue.
my brother Connor came through to the wiltern— saying what’s up to him before I have to go hit the stage
now it’s time to hit the stage
crowd at the Wiltern was dope— hadn’t performed in LA for over a year, felt like i was coming home for real
mission 1 complete. playing some super smash bros in my room on the bus on the way to Life Is Beautiful Festival
quick line check day the festival— everything workin great this time, bout to run on stage
i step out on stage at life is beautiful— drank like 2 beers backstage not sure what the crowd is gonna be lookin like
damn, everybody showed up
singing ‘weight in gold’ together
left right after the set back to the hotel— had to record this one ad-lib for this song called panasonic from my new album— wanted to do it with my stage mic but i left a cable i needed back at the crib. so i just record it real quick on my phone and airdrop it into Ableton
just barely made the deadline. Sweet Insomnia still coming out on 10/25 👌🏿
