If you’re a fan of music, you’re a fan of [THEY.](http://instagram.com/they/?hl=en) The R&B duo composed of Dante Jones and Drew Love came into fruition in 2015 in sunny Los Angeles, and have since become fan-favorites in the music industry. That same year, they embarked on a nationwide tour opening for Bryson Tiller, getting a taste of where they were headed: superstardom.
When it comes to their sound, THEY. (no pun intended) defy all genre boundaries, blended the likes of R&B, rock, pop, and hip-hop into their own style entitled Grunge and B. Consistently releasing fire singles and projects for their growing fanbase, THEY. return with their enchanting new single titled “Losing Focus,” featuring DMV rapper Wale, premiering today exclusively on Flaunt.
“I wrote this one during a bit of a rough patch,” Dante speaks on the song. “It was a weird time when it felt like a lot of things were getting off track, relationships, business, just everything. I was spending a lot of time in the studio alone drinking and let it all pour out.”
“Losing Focus” hails a mid-90’s bounce, with a nostalgic TLC vibe that only a certain few people are able to encompass today. After THEY. played the record for Wale, he came back in the room in 30 minutes with his verse done. This holds fans over until the duo’s forthcoming project, which encompasses the entirety of a relationship: the good and the bad.
