There were two secret gigs held in Brooklyn, both with a line up of diverse women, in body and in sound. Sofar holds events in 346 cities worldwide, each an intimate experience between a small audience and a few excellent performers. Those wishing to attend can enter a lottery. If you are selected, the secret location will be revealed to you. Upon arrival, the lineup will be announced, and that’s when the show begins.
At the cozy, Brooklyn bar Ode To Babel, an audience sat on rugs and a few benches to watch [iamchelseaiam](https://www.instagram.com/iamchelseaiam/?hl=en), [Goldwoman](https://www.instagram.com/rgoldwoman/), and [Morghan Kennedy](https://www.instagram.com/morghankb/?hl=en) perform their original songs. Before the night came to a close, the whole bar was singing along, and the sun had set over the Brooklyn skyline. Still, these women partied on.
