It’s no secret that on the weekends, when all the fashion events, the issue release parties, and lavish dinner soirées have been attended by yours truly, we like to make our way to the undergrounds.
Last weekend, we put on on our dancing g shoes and headed down to the urban landscape of downtown Los Angeles, where Secret Project graced us with a fine mix of techno, deep house and disco tunes in an artful setting. Although we were only an uber ride away, artists such as Peggy Gou, Four Tet, Modeselektor and Honey Dijon made us voyage to a place, a secret place, where music, art and culture are celebrated through self-expression, self-love, self-discovery.
Finally, a stunning and emotive art installation by Michael Benisty “Broken But Together” was dusted off and brought to us straight from Burning Man 2019.
So I guess all that is left to say is thank you Secret Project. We lost ourselves. We found ourselves. We may be broken, but at least our feet still work and we danced all together.
