Civilization is unbearable, but it is less unbearable at the top
We topped down the merc, topped up the drinks, top to bottomed our party itinerary, topped off our tops, and never or at any stage did we top out. It was with our formidable French fashion friends

that we put the top in tip top, and ascended skywards to the rooftop of the
[SIXTY Hotel](http://www.sixtyhotels.com/beverly-hills/)
in Beverly Hills to celebrate the launch of the the top shelf moment of magazine majesty that is the Oh La La Land Issue: Ouest Coast. Our pal, the social media wunderkind,
[Cameron Dallas](https://www.instagram.com/camerondallas/?hl=en)
played host, and we were joined by a lovable raft of fellow Oh La La Land featurees, including Paris Jackson, and Jennifer Herrema. Herrema sliced up the decks alongside Kurt Midness,
[Ariel Pink](http://www.4ad.com/artists/arielpink)
, and our favorite adonis
[Johnny Basil](http://johnnybasil.com/)
.
Atop our heads, we screened several films throughout the night, including

by the SIXTY Hotel, the new Men's FW16 film from Lanvin, Flaunt's

by Alyn Horton, as well as a new untitled project by Jennifer Herrema.
[Ketel One](http://ketelone.com/)
provided the underpinnings of some delicious vodka treats that we topped off with
[Mixwell](http://pleasemixwell.com/)
ginger ale, and sipped pool-side while contemplating the top heavy fabulosity overload that happens when Los Angeles and Paris collide.
