Obscene City: Oh La La Land
A look back on the soirees, shindigs, bashes, and bacchanals we've thrown since our last issue.
Flaunt
is like the orchestral cymbals of repercussions—we’re bold and brassy, and we leave your head ringing. So for The Repercussions issue we flexed our pecs and put mettle in the clap.
Across at Neue House Flaunt joined former cover artist, poet and sculptor Robert Montgomery, and poet Gretta Belamancia for a thought provoking public discussion on the big questions, like life and poetry.
Following on there was no one left guessing as we wooed some Guess girls and celebrated the launch of Guess’ new Dare perfume at Ysabel. Across at Kayne Griffin Corcoran we lent against a very expensive artwork and said heezy to Yeezy at Travis Scott’s .Wav party.
While descent is our normal direction at the Chateau Marmont (into pure hedonism of course), we ascended to the penthouse for the AdoptTogether cocktail event and fundraiser, supporting this wonderful charity in their mission to help fund adoptions.
We choppered down to San Jose to kick a few goals with Tag Heuer and watch the MLS All-Stars play Arsenal. Then back in L.A. we strolled over to the Mama Shelter rooftop where we joined Disaronno to celebrate Sour Hour with a yummy batch of Disaronno sours.
Never one to miss a toss, over at Jon & Vinny’s we rolled a different kind of dough and made delicious pizza under the guidance of Lexus USA. Dinner was on Grey Goose when we got riviera chic and zenned out to the sounds of Kitsune in Beverly Hills for their Boulangerie Bleue night.
Lastly but not leastly we headed to the beautiful home of Shulamit Nazaria to attend the midsummer fete and silent auction (intelligently powered by Paddle8) to benefit LAND (Los Angeles Nomad Division).
