Every once in a while you come across an artist that has all the ingredients necessary for success, and mass recognition seems inevitable. SAINt JHN is that kind of artist. One of nine siblings and the son of a preacher, he drew influence from his older brother and from bouncing between both Brooklyn and Guyana as a kid, weaving his dual heritage and his life experiences together to create a unique and immediately compelling sound. After seeing his brothers fall into the trap of drug dealing for easy money and the consequences that resulted, he doubled down on music. For years he lent his talent to others, racking up credits on songs with Usher, Kiesza, Joey Bada$$, and Jidenna among others, but now SAINt JHN is keeping his creative energy for himself.  In the video for the trap-inflected new track "3 Below", SAINt JHN is seen galavanting through the streets of New York city flaunting gold rings, fur coats, and a tight-knit, gorgeous group of well-dressed men and women. SAINt JHN may not be "trying to be anybody's hero," but after making some pretty brave fashion choices in this video, he's definitely ours.  [SAINt JHN will be performing at Governor's Ball Music Festival this summer.](https://www.governorsballmusicfestival.com/)
