Louis Vuitton SS19 Women's Windows

12 Louis Vuitton stores are now decorated with a window display that takes you far and beyond the here and now. Thanks to creator Es Devlin under the artistic direction Nicolas Ghesquiére, each window acts a post-card-portal, symbolizing a gateway to a city unexplored. These digital displays not only showcase the Women's 2019 Spring-Summer Collection behind the stores doors, but stretch beyond to emphasize the network of Louis Vuitton worldwide. In a time where we must understand one another no matter our look or location, our perspective of the ground we walk on is of the upmost importance. As shoppers and window watchers gaze from the portal in their neighborhood Louis Vuitton to a setting far and beyond, the world becomes that much smaller and perspectives can shift. The Mannequins who star in the digital display are not posed as passive women, but rather in action and ready to take a walk around the world. With the futuristic touch of visual art by previous print master Mike “Beeple” Winkelmann, each window is an immersive experience dedicated to the community of fashion and fellowship around the globe.  * * * Photos courtesy of Louis Vuitton
