Jim Dine is no stranger to art. Associated with movements such as Pop Art and Abstract Expressionism, Dine has an extensive career as a contemporary artist. From painting and drawing to photography and sculpting, Dine’s extensive portfolio has always featured printmaking.
Since 2001 Dine has produced over 750 prints, reimagining many of his iconic visual motifs: the hearts and bathrobes, the antique torsos and flowers, the self-portraits and tools and, of course, Pinocchio.

I print. Catalogue Raisonné of Prints, 2001–2020 (Steidl) documents all of Dine’s works made in the last 20 years with information on their printing processes. Jim, As I Know Him is a limited edition book and signed stone lithograph that was printed and editioned in conjunction with I print. Catalogue Raisonné of Prints, 2001–2020. With a career spanning over six decades, Dine is a commendable artist and Jim, As I Know Him offers an intimate look at the work of the icon himself.
