Born in the Bay Area but raised in Florida, the recording artist, tattoo artist, and overall creative curates nothing short of vibes, drawing from his own melting pot of musical genres—a sound which Enzo describes as “car music.” Enzo states, “I’m about to be the world’s next sex symbol. I’m pretty rage-like, but I don’t really have any specific genre. I’m all over the place. I like to sing, I tattoo. I’m very creative.” Regardless, one thing’s for sure: it’s hard to miss Enzo’s bleached hair, tattoo and zero fucks given attitude. From previously being homeless and losing his best friend to now killing the game independently, Enzo is ready to take his artistry to the next level once and for all. Most recently, he unleashed his newest single titled “Father Figure,” tapping Mad Kelly and Talkless. In fact, the latter even taught him how to tattoo. _Flaunt_ caught up with Enzo via Google Meet to discuss his roots in music, tattooing, why he’s a “Father FIgure,” inspo behind the record, forthcoming EP, being a sex symbol, breaking the internet, and more! EnzoFerrariFLAUNT2.jpg ![EnzoFerrariFLAUNT2.jpg](https://cdn.prod.website-files.com/62ee0bbe0c783a903ecc0ddb/6472d4f9c4e0411e8d6fc366_EnzoFerrariFLAUNT2.jpeg) **Have you always tattooed or did that come recently?** Talkless is my mentor, I grew up with him. He's my best friend. About 2 years ago, I begged him to teach me how to use the tattoo machine, because I’d already picked it up. I said “Yo bro, you need to teach me tips or else I’m going to be out here fucking people up.” \[laughs\] He took me under his wing as far as tattooing goes. Since we’re best friends and we grew up together, “Alright let’s make music together.” **When did the music start?** It started the end of last year. That ‘ when I finally tapped into this new sound. I was doing a lot of R&B stuff, then he introduced me to Kelly. Kelly had showed me music, then I stepped out of the R&B box and started this whole “Father Figure” thing.” I was on my Brent Faiyaz shit, very sexual vibes. I took that and put energy behind it. Now, it's “Father Figure.” **“Father Figure” is definitely unique and aggressive. What were you going through when you recorded it?** It’s more so an idea. If you’re going to be a father figure, this is not how you should act. I’m actually the complete opposite, I wanted to play with that. It was very sporadic. Like I said, Talkless introduced me to Kelly and Kelly played some beats. Now, I don’t know why I like this shit so much. Did some drugs, smoked some weed, had some beers. Me, Kelly, Talkless, all of our energy birthed this sound. **You said, “I’m specifically talking about sex, but I’m also about to son people.” What does that mean?** I created a whole new genre of music with this style. I’m very very raunchy. The beats are very house, EDM, rage beat, but I’m talking about either disrespecting your girlfriend and/or sex in general. That’s me. I birthed this sound so now I’m the father of this sound. I don’t feel like anybody can come close to me with how I’m doing this. **What was your vision with the music video?** We filmed that at my house and went to an alley on Melrose. It was the same energy of how we’re recording the song: very in the moment, sporadic. We’re with a bunch of people. It’s very fast-paced, rage. It was in the middle of winter, I had my t-shirt off. I had to jump around to warm myself up, keep it fast paced. We wanted to keep it very… tight. Okay, let’s just rage.  They're in the kitchen, there’s a bunch running down the street pushing each other. It’s very in the moment. We do black and red nighttime vibes. We were with all those people that were in the kitchen shot. We’re all feeding off each other. That’s how that came about, very in the moment: “let’s do very fast-paced, rage.” \[snaps\] It’ll look exactly that. **What’s your relationship with Talkless and Mad Kelly?**  Talkless runs Uncomfortable Records, I actually have that tattoo on the side of my head. We’re all a family already. Kelly’s producing the next single I’m running with, called “Sex Pistol.” That’s going to be a solo record, produced solely by Mad Kelly. That's family. It's going to be very fast-paced. That one’s going to be BDSM, I’m hoping to break the internet. It’s a very explicit video, we all have fun. **What's happening in the video that will break the internet?** I’m getting Fellatio from my girlfriend, I’m eating her ass as well. I did a line off her shit. I’m chained up to this bed. It has a lot of BDSM vibes, people are going to think “Yo, this kid is on some shit.” That’s how we feed off of each other. Kelly has this look, he looks like a rockstar. Talkless is a fucking rockstar. I’m this sex symbol guy, we all feed off each other’s energies. It wasn't really hard to put them all together. It was there, then we polished it. **Why are you the sex symbol?** Because I'm Enzo Ferrari. I was born with this name, I was born with this look. I was born with this talent you can't deny. After “Sex Pistol,” I’m going to be goals as far as being a sex symbol goes. It’s a vibe. I wasn’t getting anywhere being an R&B, Brent Faiyaz type of sexy, so let me push it in your face that I can be very raunchy. There's two sides to every coin. **Talk about going from sleeping on Venice Beach to where you are now. How have you evolved?** Oh my god! I was homeless. I wasn’t even sleeping in my car. I’ve always been the type of person that if you want something done, you're going to get it  done no matter what. Losing my best friend, having to sleep in my other friend's car, not knowing when I was going to shower or having my next meal, it pushes you to take care of other issues. I have this vision and I do believe I’ll be this generation's greatest artist. What am I going to do to really want that? What will I go through? What will I put up? What will I put in? What will I put out? **Why do you feel like you'll be the greatest?** Because I was fortunately born with the dopest name in the world (Enzo Sabastian Ferrari). I have all these talents and I can't be boxed in. I’m a skateboarder, I'm a tattoo artist. I'm a musician, I direct music with my friends. I'm into photography. My roommate does graffiti so I'm dabbling in that. It’s endless. My sense of style too. I'm a very sexy good-looking motherfucker. My music speaks for yourself, it's in your face. I’m very well-rounded. Wow, you can't put Enzo Ferrari in a box. He really is the greatest, you can't box him. **How would you describe your fashion style if you could?** My fashion style is more dark clothes and chains, a mix of punk rock and goth. I don’t really do the makeup but I love the chains, the nails, the dark clothes. I'm into vintage stuff so I'll wear stuff that looks older and distressed. Since I’m wearing accessories, I have patches on my pants and rips on my clothes, I have a rockstar look almost. It's a rockstar skater look. I'll still wear SB’s and shit, so more skater. **3 things you need in the studio?** Fucking water. Weed. \[laughs\] Damn I engineer myself, so I don't need an engineer. I know how to engineer, that’s why I recorded Talkless’ verse on the song. Water and weed, that’s really all I need. I'm not too much of a drinker. I'll probably have a beer or two, take a shot, but mainly weed and water. **What can we expect from you next?**  Look out for “Sex Pistol” produced by Kelly, that’s going to hopefully go crazy, and the _Father Figure_ album to follow up after.  I want it to run with the single so people can get the idea of the direction I'm heading for. I'm working with bigger artists as well, like Kamiyada+. I have some stuff on the album with him, then my friend named WALT! He’s crazy too. **Why do you call yourself  the “Father Figure”?** Because I'm the only one with the balls to talk about what I’m talking about. It's the play on “damn dude if you’re a father, you shouldn't act like that.” I'm not a father, I don’t have any children. It's in the sense of the music that I have the balls to talk about this, nobody else really does talk about what I’m talking about. I birthed a new sound, so I might have some followers or some people who feel inspired by me. **Anything else you want to let the people know?** Be on the lookout for mine and Kelly’s next single, he's going to be producing it. I want people to be excited for the _Father Figure_ album, it's coming with another couple of singles and music videos.
