Directed by Luke Buckley with animation by Edgar Fernandez, the video is a composite of denizens which make up the neighbors of LA, approached with a lo-fi aesthetic derived from a Gus Van Sant language of street hustler. The songs upbeat tempo is juxtaposed with somber lyrics. Dodge explains, “We filmed in neighborhoods like MacArthur Park, Chinatown, Lincoln Heights, and my own Normandie Avenue of East Hollywood because these are areas that still feel preserved from the death march of urban _presto-change-o_, though, sadly, not protected from it.”
