The new Homecoming collection from [Byredo](https://www.byredo.com/us_en/) encompasses returning to the base of where we have traveled in a time where the worlds uncertainty has fully constructed the way which we move around. This season the collection is rooted in an embrace of Ben Gorhams heritage via his Indian mother as well as the craftsmanship that has come to be known by Byredo.  A play with shape, volume, and color… In the sense of new architecture for the bags that in turn provide aesthetic‘s as well as function, working 60s suitcases and Indian train travel. The items are placed into a contemporary context with the use of luxurious leather and touches of utilitarian extravagance, while the color-ways provide a genderless experience reflecting the most unisex extension in the Byredo universe beyond the signature scents. About this launch Ben Gorham remarked, “I have the obsession of perfection. I wanted to take the abstraction of scent and channel it into other products—I wanted the same perfection. The craftsmanship of leather goods has that same quality for me; it has become another medium for this exploration. This season I decided to go back to my original inspiration: travel. It is as much about my own origins as the idea of a journey through India. Even though I have travelled from a tender age it is not about nostalgia; it’s about the thrill of where I haven’t been as much as where I am coming from.” And though we may not be able to move far we can enjoy to memory of travel and while embracing a sense of home
