This year the 45th edition of the collector’s item shies away from the traditional pattern of soft-core looks from typically sexy nude A-list women. Instead, it features an all-black cast of excellence re-imagining the tales of _Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland_. The highly anticipated annual photography series was shot by known romanticism-depicter Tim Walker and styled by the new _British_ _Vogue_ editor Edward Enninful in London and features the epic cast of Naomi Campbell as the Royal Beheader (who better?), Lupita Nyong’o, Whoopi Goldberg, RuPaul, Sean “Diddy” Combs among newer faces such as models Slick Woods, Adwoa Aboah, Sasha Lane and others. And what are they beheading? Old stereotypes and assumptions. “Inclusivity is more part of the conversation than it has ever been before, but it goes far beyond black and white,” Mr. Enninful said. “It is about all creeds, all colors, all sizes and people just living their truths. Given the state of the world we live in, sometimes I think we all feel like we’ve fallen down the rabbit hole.
