AMI collaborates with Jean-Paul Goude for the first Ami de Cœur (“friend of the heart” in French) campaign. The campaign stays true to AMI’s Parisian roots as an exuberant celebration of the City of Lights, exemplifying the brand's core values: spreading love and positivity.
This collaboration was born out of a new-found friendship between AMI’s founder and creative director Alexandre Mattiussi and French photographer, illustrator, advertiser, and overall creative force Jean-Paul Goude, creating a colorful and contemporary love letter to AMI’s hometown. On meeting Mattiussi, Goude explains, “A couple of months ago, during the height of the pandemic, Alexandre Mattiussi came to visit. I found him not only charming but funny, serious, sensitive, enthusiastic; it was love at first sight!”
This kicks off the now bi-annual capsule release of the Ami de Cœur collection, with the next capsule releaseing May 1st, 2021.
