_Backstage at Zadig and Voltaire's F/W 2017 presentation for NYFW_
The Seine and the Hudson, the Eiffel tower and the Empire State building, the City of Lights and the City That Never Sleeps–Paris and NYC have long defined two distinct but complementary spheres of urban cool, and Zadig & Voltaire drew from both for their first-ever presentation in New York. Showstoppers like Bella Hadid and Hailey Baldwin rocked easy-to-wear styles that mixed grit and glamor, the toughness of biker-cut leather pants and boots-made-for-walking balanced with heavy knits and splashes of lipstick-red. Zadig & Voltaire also revealed a number of looks from the “See Now Buy Now” capsule, which are already available in stores and online.
The timelessness of Paris merged with the forward-looking innovation of NYC–it’s a good image for Zadig & Voltaire’s dedication to authentic fashion that sets trends while staying true to its roots. Lady Liberty would be proud of the pairing.
