Today, RM, a member of iconic K Pop Band BTS, releases his second solo album Right Place, Wrong Person. The album follows his first solo work Indigo which was released in December, 2022.

As the newest album in RM's discography, the artist goes down a new avenue, tapping into the relatable sensation and moments of feeling like a stranger, constantly out of place. The set list reaches any and all listeners in its eloquent description of the universal experience of self doubt. The album is for those searching for answers to these puzzling and isolating emotions.

Featuring 11 songs, the main track “LOST!” is following by “Right People, Wrong place,” “Nuts,” “out of love,” “Domodachi (feat. Little Simz),” “?(Interlude),” “Groin,” “Heaven,” “Around the world in a day (feat. Moses Sumney),” “(Credit Roll),” and pre-release track “Come back to me.”

Right Place, Wrong Person was created out of RM’s exploration of himself both as a member of BTS and his identity as Kim Namjoon (his given name). He explores the experience of living in two separate identities and how this has shaped his perception of the world. The new album is an authentic self reflection and grapples with a lot of uncomfortable, raw emotions.

RM brought together three different photographers for the album’s concept photos whose shoot locations spanned across South Korea, the UK and Japan. Each shoot captures a different subsect of emotions while cohesively communicating the vulnerability that exists within the album.
