On Sunday, The Television Academy hosted its 77th Emmy Awards Governors Gala, held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, featuring an exclusive, invite-only starlight soirée. In typical post-Emmy Awards show fashion, all the celebrities dispersed to celebrate television’s biggest night of the year—honoring the wins, the nominations and all the hard work that made each competitor a strong force to reckon with.

At the heart of the function was Franciacorta, the Italian wine from the Lombardy region from which it is produced, which served as the official sparkling wine sponsor of the Emmys. Under a dimly-lit dome, with over 100 chandeliers and a custom art installation of illuminated filament, the consortium offered guests a taste of its flavorsome sparkling wines—created through the second fermentation in the bottle using the traditional ‘metodo classico,’ as it goes by in Italian.

Similar to how champagne is produced, Franciacorta is a high-quality sparkling wine, with notes of brioche and biscuit, introducing guests to some of the region’s finest varietals—ensuring every sip encapsulates just how magical the night deserved to be. Among the attendees were Victor Turpin, Andrew Matarazzo, Marta Pozzan, Shanina Shaik, Jennie Mai, Gabe Gronli, Joe Sachs, Paul Dinello, Scott Gemmill and Emanuele Rabotti, Fraciacorta’s newest president, many of whom posed alongside their newly minted gold Emmy statues.

“We’ve worked to create a spectacular after party that celebrates this year’s winners and the nominees and toasts the career journeys that brought them to this night,” David Hartle, Governors Gala co-chair, said in anticipation of the promotion. “This will be an unforgettable Governors Gala that will stay with the attendees for a long time to come.”
