Standing over a private terrace above the Gothic lace cathedral in Piazza del Duomo as twilight settles over the city feels like stepping out of time. It was the perfect setting for Franciacorta's 35th anniversary last night—celebrated during Milan Fashion Week, where the brand has been an official partner for over thirteen years.

The night was crafted to elegant perfection. It began with a dinner curated by Carlo Cracco, where each dish was designed to pair with a different style of Franciacorta, ranging from sharp and crisp to layered and slow-burning. The event was accompanied by a live DJ set and performance by Spanish dancer Sergio Bernal, who brought a fusion of flamenco with ballet dance styles. Familiar guests ranged across sports, arts, and fashion, including Giacomo Giorgio, Gaia Amaral, NBA’s Anthony Black, and principal dancers of Teatro alla Scala, who all gathered to raise their wine glasses for Franciacorta.

President Emanuele Rabotti spoke about the brand’s ongoing evolution—its roots in the land, its commitment to authenticity, and its role in shaping the language of Italian excellence today. As Carlo Capasa, President of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, put it, both Franciacorta and Italian fashion are built on raw quality, local knowledge, and people who care. That’s the story being told—and it's just getting started.

That night, the brand also launched Franciacorta Magazine, its first editorial project in collaboration with Gruppo Editoriale that steps beyond the vineyard to explore culture, design, and sustainability. As Franciacorta celebrates this milestone over the beautiful skyline of Florence, we are reminded that “Made in Italy” is more than just a label; it is a cultural force that sustains beauty and delicacy.
