The Hole | "PAPER VIEW"

by Hannah Jackson

13 years following the paper-centric exhibition, PANIC ROOM, The Hole NYC returns with another exhibit dedicated to art created on paper, in its multitude of forms. The aptly-named PAPER VIEW will feature over 100 works from 60 artists.

Many of the artists slated to be featured in PAPER VIEW had shown work in PANIC ROOM, but The Hole is no one-trick pony. The gallery has picked up “a giant handful” of new artists from as far as Tokyo whom they are eager to show off to the public.

The show will display a variety of work involving paper, including everything from abstract work by Xylor Jane collage work by Chris Johanson, to fine line graphite pieces by Aurel Schmidt.

PAPER VIEW will open July 10th and will remain at The Hole until August 18th. The exhibition can be seen at 312 Bowery, New York, New York.
